We have seen a wonderful renovation along the Birch Street Cooridor in the last ten years. 

Lagos De Moreno Park on the corner of Flower and Birch in the heart of Brea is due for it's own revitalization. 

It's been awhile: 1994 - The "Red & Green" playground equipment installed  Then in 2004 - City & School Joint Use Agreement Expired.

2005 - The "old fire truck" play equipment was taken out due to safety concerns. As it was "age-inappropriate" for where it was located, the Pink, Yellow & Blue playground equipment moved from "Upper Kindergarten Yard" to the "old fire truck" spot. So Lagos-Laurel has mis-matched old equipment and a lack of facilities as compared to other facilities in Brea.  Help us. Let's make sure this beautiful gem of a park in the heart of Brea is taken care of by our city and school district. Plan to attend the joint City Council-School Board meeting, date TBD.
